
Carbon Rod Impregnated Resin for Making Mechanical Seals is a semi-finished carbon rod made of carbon material impregnated with resin, used for processing carbon components of mechanical seals.
Applications
Chemical Pumps
After being machined into carbon sealing rings, they are used at the shaft end of chemical pumps. Through end-face contact with the pump casing or a mating ring, they form a sealing surface, preventing corrosive or viscous liquids from leaking axially.
Food and Pharmaceutical Equipment
In liquid mixing or conveying equipment, carbon seals are installed at the outlet of the rotating shaft, achieving a seal for clean liquids or slurries through end-face contact.
Petrochemical and Energy Equipment
Used in the shaft sealing parts of compressors or pumps, carbon sealing rings contact the rotating shaft and casing, controlling the axial flow of gas or liquid through end-face friction.
