Products Description
Graphite Balls for Carbon Increase in the Steel Industry are a high-efficiency carbon-adding material used in the steel smelting process. They are mainly used in converters, electric furnaces, and induction furnaces to quickly add carbon, increase the carbon content of molten steel, and stabilize its composition.
Products Advantages
High Fixed Carbon Content: Utilizing high-purity graphite raw materials and undergoing high-temperature treatment, the fixed carbon content can reach ≥98%, with low impurities and low ash content.
Low Sulfur and Low Nitrogen: Through raw material screening and high-temperature purification processes, the content of harmful elements such as sulfur and nitrogen is low, effectively preventing degradation of steel performance.
Low Powdering Rate: Employing high-pressure molding and high-temperature sintering processes, the spherical structure is dense, making it less prone to breakage during transportation and feeding.
Customization Options
Carbon Content Customization: Available in 95%–99% grades
Particle Size: Standard Φ5–10mm, 10–20mm; custom sizes supported
Ash/Sulfur Content Control: Low-sulfur or ultra-low-ash products can be customized according to steel grade requirements

FAQ
Q: What is the approximate carbon absorption rate of your graphite spheres?
A: Under normal smelting conditions, the carbon absorption rate can stably reach 90-95%, depending on the furnace type and charging method.
Q: What are the advantages compared to petroleum coke or ordinary carbon raisers?
A: Graphite spheres have lower impurities, more stable reaction, and higher absorption rate, effectively reducing usage and improving steel quality.
Q: Do you have a factory inspection report?
A: A chemical composition analysis report is available for each batch of products, including key indicators such as fixed carbon, ash content, and sulfur content.
Q: What is the minimum order quantity?
A: The MOQ for standard specifications is 1 ton. Larger quantities can be supplied long-term and stably.
Q: What is the delivery time?
A: Standard specifications are shipped in 7-10 days, and customized specifications in approximately 10-15 days.
Q: Is it easily broken during transportation?
A: The product uses a high-strength molding process and shockproof packaging, resulting in an extremely low breakage rate under normal transportation conditions.
Q: Do you support export and third-party testing?
A: It supports export packaging standards and can cooperate with third-party testing agencies such as SGS and BV.
